Cast iron grates
Product description
The cast iron grate is used in semi-slatted delivery pens. It is made of spherical cast iron with gaps of 10 mm, 13 mm and 16 mm. Ductile iron grids have a better "micro" roughness than plastic grids. The advantage is that the sow is better stabilized. There is a special type of grating with non-slip dents. The advantage is the optimal, solid surface.
Advantages:
- The slightly rough surface makes the grate non-slip
- T-shaped ribs ensure optimal slurry flow
- Large cleaning opening
- Hard, minimal surface
- Long service life - good for both the environment and economy
- Same bearing surface and height as for easily replaceable triangular slats
- Self-supporting = low installation costs
